milanesi | paiusco is a design and research studio founded in 2019 by Claudio Milanesi and Diego Paiusco. Operating from Hangzhou, China, and Vicenza, Italy, the practice works across architecture, urban design, interiors, and consulting. The studio is shaped by a design-led approach that combines aesthetic clarity with strategic thinking, aiming to create durable value through well-resolved spatial systems. The practice also extends into furniture, curatorial work, and interdisciplinary collaborations, supported by research, consulting experience, and construction knowledge from concept to completion. Its work has received international recognition, including mentions such as the World Architecture Festival 2025 shortlist, the American Architecture Master Prize 2024, and the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2024. The studio was also included in AD100 YOUNG 2024 and Position’s 2023 Young Chinese Architecture Firms.
