Nestled in Sydney’s exclusive eastern suburb, Darling Point Apartment by Studio ZAWA is a refined example of minimalist spatial transformation. The project reimagines a 1970s apartment, stripping away layers of dated design to reveal a modern, serene, and efficient interior tailored for contemporary living.

Designed with a deep respect for the apartment’s original structure, Studio ZAWA introduced a harmonious flow through clean lines, natural textures, and a muted color palette. Timber joinery, Venetian plaster finishes, and warm lighting accentuate the apartment’s spatial clarity, while each room transitions with subtle elegance into the next. A core design objective was to maximize natural light and cross-ventilation, which was achieved by opening up the plan and reducing unnecessary walls.
